Privacy notice
Your information supports the petition—not a mailing list for sale.
This notice explains what Stand for PT collects, why it is needed, and what is included when the petition is delivered.
Petition records
Information we collect and use
When you sign online, Stand for PT collects your name, personal email, city, state, role, optional credentials, consent record, signing date, and whether you chose campaign updates. This information is used to administer the petition, identify duplicate or invalid entries, verify support, create aggregate counts, and prepare milestone deliveries.
When a signed paper petition is emailed or returned, the campaign may keep the signed page or scan in private records and enter the signer's permitted information into the same tracker.
What may be shared
Verified delivery reports may include a signer's name, role or credentials, city, state, signing date, and source category. Personal emails, handwritten or electronic signature records, private review notes, and update preferences are excluded from public or milestone delivery reports.
How records are protected
The signature tracker is restricted to authorized campaign administrators. Stand for PT does not sell signer information. Records are kept only as reasonably needed to operate, verify, document, and deliver the petition or meet applicable obligations.
Your choices
Campaign updates are optional and are separate from signing. To unsubscribe from updates, correct your information, or request removal from future petition deliveries, email standforpt@gmail.com. A removal request cannot retract a delivery that was already sent before the request was received.
Important limits
Do not submit patient health information, confidential employer information, or information about another person. This is a public-policy advocacy petition—not a statutory ballot petition, legal filing, or union authorization card.
